The Federation Skills Trust are proud to sponsor the Brooklands Innovation Academy which inspires and supports young people to become the next generation of scientists and engineers, helping make Britain the best place in the world to do science.
Located at the iconic Brooklands Museum, and a neighbour of the Heritage Skills Academy, the creation of the Brookands Innovation Academy aimed at school-aged young people perfectly complements the Skills Academy which delivers apprenticeships in #heritageengineering to those aged 16+.
The initiative is part of the national Science Summer School programme, co-founded by Professor Brian Cox CBE and Lord Andrew Mawson OBE and Well North Enterprises. In Surrey, it is delivered by Brooklands Museum in partnership with Bourne Education Trust and supported by Haleon and other leading businesses and donors. The Academy is delivered at Brooklands Museum’s historic site, renowned for innovation and world firsts in engineering and design.
